  • Delivery Updates & Tracking

    How will I know when my order has been dispatched?

    Once your Top Hamper order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us. Shortly after, DPD will send you delivery notifications with tracking details so you can follow your parcel’s journey.

    Will I receive delivery updates?

    Yes. DPD will keep you updated throughout the delivery process. You’ll usually receive notifications by email and/or text message (SMS) once your parcel is on its way.

    These updates typically include:

    • Confirmation that your parcel is with DPD
    • A tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time
    • Your estimated delivery day and time window
    • Notifications when your parcel is out for delivery

    Can I track my order?

    Yes. Your DPD tracking link will allow you to track your hamper from dispatch right up to delivery. You’ll be able to see live updates and the current status of your parcel.

    Can I change my delivery once it’s been dispatched?

    In many cases, yes. Using the tracking link provided by DPD, you may be able to:

    • Choose a different delivery date
    • Leave your parcel in a safe place
    • Deliver to a neighbour
    • Redirect your parcel to a local pickup point

    The options available will depend on your location and the delivery status.

    What happens on the day of delivery?

    On the day of delivery, DPD will send you a message with a one-hour delivery window so you know exactly when to expect your parcel.

    What if I miss my delivery?

    If you’re not available, DPD may:

    • Attempt delivery to a neighbour
    • Leave the parcel in a safe place (if selected)
    • Contact you to rearrange delivery

    You can manage these options via the tracking link in your DPD notification.

  • Standard Delivery

    England & Wales

    Your hamper will arrive within 2-3 working days (Monday to Friday) for orders placed by 1 pm. This service costs £3.99 under £50, £1.99 £50-£100 or it’s free for orders over £100.

    Scotland

    Your hamper will arrive within 2-3 working days (Monday to Saturday) for orders placed by 1 pm. This service costs £5.99 under £50, £3.99 £50-£100 or £1.99 for orders over £100.

  • Next Day Delivery

    Next working day delivery is available for £5.99 under £50, £3.99 on orders £50-£100 or free on orders over £100.

    Orders must be placed prior to 1pm.

  • Weekend Delivery

    We offer Saturday or Sunday delivery across mainland UK for £9.95. Make sure to place your order by 1pm on Friday.

  • Remote Areas

    Deliveries to specific postcodes such as the Ireland, Northern Highlands, Scottish Islands, and Isle of Man will take around two days. You’ll see your delivery options and pricing once you enter your postcode at checkout.

  • Per Hamper Charge

    For named day and weekend delivery options, the charge is applied to each hamper.

  • Post-Bank Holiday Deliveries

    If you’ve chosen a Monday or Tuesday delivery following a bank holiday, we’ll dispatch it on Friday to ensure it arrives on time, which means it could arrive early.

    Please note during out busiest periods around Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays we may not always be able to guarantee next day delivery, or a specific delivery date. Please check if this is important at smiles@tophampers.com

    Please note, delivery schedules around bank holidays and Christmas may come with different charges. We’re unable to deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.

    We or our courier might need someone of the appropriate age to receive the delivery of the goods.

  • Returns

    Top Hampers Satisfaction & Returns Policy

    At Top Hampers, all purchases made through our website are protected by a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you wish to return a hamper for any reason, please notify us within 14 days of its delivery. For returns where the hamper is not faulty, it should be in its unused, unopened state with the original packaging intact.

    Please note, Top Hampers cannot offer refunds or exchanges for issues beyond our control, such as damage or neglect after delivery, or incorrect storage of goods.

    To initiate a return, contact our customer service promptly within the 14-day window, providing details in writing to smiles@tophampers.com including your order and hamper numbers, along with the return reason. Ensure the returned hamper is securely packaged with all included items.Upon receiving your return, we’ll inspect the items and process any approved refunds, credits, or exchanges within 14 days.

    Cancellation requests made before dispatch may incur an administration fee for costs incurred. Orders cancelled post-dispatch must be returned as per our guidelines.

    Exceptions

    The following items are exempt from our return policy unless faulty:

    • Perishable goods (e.g., flowers, fresh food)
    • Personalised or branded items
    • Bespoke hampers, including those made to order or customised by our sales team

    For hampers delivered damaged or with defective contents, report the issue to our customer service within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement of the same or higher value. If a replacement isn’t needed, a refund may be offered, subject to our right to inspect the returned item using our return service.

    Aside of all of the specifics above, The Top Hampers family are absolutely committed to ensuring all of our customers are delighted with our products and our service. We appreciate the trust you have placed in us for these important occasions of expressing appreciation and empathy to those to whom you are sending a gift, and we want every transaction to be perfect. Please do let us know as soon as possible if we do not achieve our objectives in any way, and we will do our best to rectify things.
