FAQ: Build Your Own vs Bespoke Hampers 

  • Can I pick my own items? 

    Yes. 

    With Build Your Own, you select every product yourself and see the price update as you go. You are fully in control of the contents. 

    With Bespoke, you share the occasion, budget and recipient details, and we design the hamper for you, carefully selecting from our full range of products, all held in stock. 

  • Will I see the hamper straightaway if I use the Bespoke form? 

    Not on screen in real time. 

    Bespoke is designed to be straightforward. You complete the form, pay securely online, and we take care of the rest. There is no back and forth required unless you request it. 

    You can choose whether or not to receive a list of contents. 

    Some customers prefer to know exactly what has been included so they can refer to it later. Others send a gift to themselves, to themselves and a partner, or even ‘from’ their pet and would rather keep the contents a surprise. You decide at the point of ordering. 

  • Can I choose a hamper or a box with both options? 

    Yes. 

    With both Build Your Own and Bespoke, you can choose between a luxury magnetic gift box or a hamper basket. 

    You also select your message and card style at checkout. The presentation standard is the same across both options. 

  • Can I personalise items inside the hamper? 

    Yes. 

    With Build Your Own, you can add individual personalised products as you build, for example items with initials or a printed message. 

    With Bespoke, you can: • Specify the exact personalisation you would like included • Ask us to incorporate personalised elements • Leave those choices to us based on your brief 

    Is the presentation different between the two? 

    The quality level is the same; the difference is in how the contents are selected. 

    With Bespoke, we select the items ourselves from our full stocked range and ensure they work together visually. We colour coordinate, balance sizes and shapes, and align the overall look so the finished hamper feels intentionally put together. 

    With Build Your Own, we present the items you have chosen in the best possible way. We arrange them proportionately, adjust positioning, and ensure the final presentation looks polished and well finished. 

  • Can I send more than one gift at a time? 

    Each hamper is completed individually. 

    If you are sending to more than one person, you simply repeat the process for each recipient. This ensures every gift has the correct contents, message, delivery address and presentation details. 

  • Can I send a hamper to myself? 

    Yes, and many customers do. 

    Some choose to send themselves a gift for key dates such as their birthday or Christmas. They select a future delivery date so they know that, whatever happens, they will receive at least one gift they genuinely value. 

    Others set up their own surprise gifts across the year, for example one every quarter. You can include these instructions in the notes section of the Bespoke form, including preferred dates and whether you would like the contents kept as a surprise. 

  • Is Bespoke slower than Build Your Own? 

    No. 

    Both options work to the same time frames. You pay online at checkout in both cases, and we prepare and dispatch within the same delivery schedule. 

  • What if I need help choosing? 

    If you enjoy choosing but want reassurance, start with Build Your Own and contact us by email for guidance or for any queries whatsoever. We respond very promptly, usually within 10 minutes. 

    If you would rather describe the recipient and leave the decisions to us, Bespoke may suit you better as we relieve you of decision making and this is such an easy route. 

  • I am not sure which option fits best. 

    Choose Build Your Own if:

    • You want full control over every item

    • You enjoy selecting products yourself

    • You want to see your hamper build in real time

    • You have a clear idea of what you want

    Choose Bespoke if:

    • You are short on time

    • You prefer us to design the gift for you

    • You have a theme or concept but do not want to choose each product
