Canasta Card Game
Gather round for a classic game of Canasta with this stylish box set from Piatnik of Vienna, ideal for beginners and seasoned players alike. Inside are two packs of high quality playing cards marked with their point values, a score pad and a rules booklet, so everything is ready for the first deal.
Originally from South America and part of the rummy family, Canasta can be played by two to six players but is most often enjoyed by four in two partnerships. Players build melds of matching cards, aiming to complete canastas of seven, and race to go out by playing every card in their hand. The handy point values printed on each card make scoring easy, even for those learning the game.
A brilliant gift for card game lovers, it makes a thoughtful birthday or Christmas present for grandparents and parents, a lovely retirement gift for someone with more time for games and a fun addition to holidays, weekends away and cosy nights in. It's also perfect for couples, friends and families who love a friendly bit of competition
