FAQs

  • What is the Bespoke option?
    • Subject to the minimum spend of £75, you simply provide is with a few brief details about the recipient and we will design and send the perfect hamper on budget. It is so easy and yet so personal.
  • Can I swap out any of the hamper products?

In many of our themed hampers you can swap a range of products from the drop-down list. For example, wines and alcoholic drinks can often be changed whilst the remainder of the hamper stays the same. In baby hampers, colours can frequently be changed; gluten free and other food options can be selected for relevant items, and many more swaps can be selected, according to the product type. The hamper price will adjust automatically. If you wish to have even greater flexibility please opt for the 'build your own' hamper, or for speed and greater ease, the bespoke option.

  • I don’t want a hamper with any items the recipient will not use or want. Can I swap items out?

Yes. Many of our clients choose the create your own or bespoke option, which means every item is picked with the recipient in mind. Nothing is wasted and the hamper feels personal rather than off the shelf.

  • How does the build your own option work?

It is simple. When you select create your own from the home page, you’ll see step by step instructions. You choose the items, we assemble them beautifully, and the hamper is delivered as a finished gift.

  • Who receives delivery tracking notifications?

If you include the recipient’s email address, they will receive courier tracking updates directly and can make delivery changes if needed. You can also have tracking sent to you if you prefer.

  • Can I leave special instructions or a personal note with my order?

Yes. Whether you are choosing a themed hamper, creating your own, or ordering bespoke, you will see options in the ordering process to add gift messages and any instructions. We always pick these up and make sure they are followed.

  • How do you make sure hampers arrive in perfect condition?

We design all hampers with safe transit in mind. Products are securely packed, boxes reinforced, and couriers chosen for reliability. Each hamper is triple checked before dispatch.

  • What happens if the recipient is not in to receive delivery?

If you use the DPD app - Your DPD you can:

    • Track where your driver is in real time

    • Get extra alerts like when the driver is nearby

    • Change delivery preferences straight from your phone.

Make sure the mobile number and email you give us are correct — that’s what DPD uses to send the alerts.

If You’re Not Home When DPD Delivers

DPD tries a delivery even if you’re not in — but what happens next depends on the situation and the options you’ve set:

    1. They check if a neighbour can accept it

DPD may try to leave the parcel with a neighbour if that’s allowed.

    2. Parcel goes to a local Pickup point

If you’re not in and neighbours can’t or won’t take it, DPD will often take the parcel to a nearby DPD Pickup shop (a local shop that stores parcels). Once it’s there, you’ll get an email telling you where to collect it.

    3. You can arrange alternatives via your alert message

The delivery notifications you get usually include links where you can:

    • Change the delivery date to one you are in
    • Ask DPD to leave your parcel in a safe place at your address
    • Choose a nominated neighbour
    • Send the parcel to a Pickup Shop instead — all before delivery.
  • Do you include invoices or prices in the hamper?

No. Hampers are sent as gifts, so we never include pricing details in the box. Receipts are emailed to the purchaser only.

  • How long do the food and drink items last?

Most items are chosen for long shelf life, and dates are checked before dispatch. If you prefer, we can design a hamper entirely around luxury keepsakes with no food at all.

  • How do you ensure food items are still good near their sell by date?

We taste test chocolates, biscuits, popcorn, fudge, and other perishable items when they are delivered and again a month before their sell by date. Anything that does not pass our longevity test is never sent out.

  • Do you have many hampers that are not just food and drink?

Yes. More than any company in the UK. While fine food and wine are popular, many of our hampers include homeware, branded desk accessories, candles, skin and bath products, relaxation and sleep aids, games, pens, diaries and notebooks, accessories, garden and sports related gifts, and many more, including unusual gifts you will not find elsewhere. We also source bespoke items.

  • Can I create a hamper around a specific theme?

Yes. From wellness to hobbies such as gardening or golf, to weddings, new baby, or celebrations, we have hundreds of themed hampers. If you don’t see exactly what you want, you can create your own or ask us to build something bespoke around your brief.

  • Do you offer sustainable or eco conscious hampers?

Yes. We stock eco friendly packaging and source gifts that are sustainable and responsibly made. Clients can choose to make this the focus of their hamper.

  • What makes a Mother’s Day hamper personal?

We design hampers to reflect her. That might mean fine food, luxury keepsakes, and items linked to her interests, from gardening and crafting to homeware, sports, yoga, books and indulgence. It feels thoughtful, lasting, and completely personal.

  • What makes a Father’s Day hamper memorable?

Our Father’s Day hampers are built around hobbies and lifestyle. For example, we can include golf or fishing accessories, artisan food, shower and body products, culinary accessories or luxury desk items. Each is personalised so the gift feels tailored to him.

  • What do people usually include in a wedding hamper?

Wedding hampers often mix fine champagne or wine with keepsakes such as crystal glasses, branded stoppers, candles and diffusers. For couples you know well, we can tailor contents even more closely to their tastes.

  • What is a good housewarming hamper?

We often combine premium home accessories such as candles, kitchenware, or glassware with food and drink, making the gift both useful and celebratory.

  • What is a good christening gift hamper?

We include keepsakes such as personalised silver photo frames, soft toys, or items with dates and names, alongside a celebratory bottle for the parents.

  • What is a good gift for exam success?

A small hamper with a luxury notebook, pen, and a few treats is a great way to celebrate success and set them up for their next step.

  • What is a unique luxury gift under £50?

A small but well presented hamper with artisan coffee or wine, paired with a luxury candle or pen. It feels deliberate and premium, not budget led.

  • What is a good gift for someone who has everything?

A bespoke hamper. Because we hold thousands of products, we can create something that feels original and personal, whether that is a rare wine, a one off branded item, or a mix of unexpected luxuries.

  • Are personalised hampers really worth it?

Yes. Recipients notice when a gift has been chosen with care. A personalised hamper signals effort, which makes it far more impactful than a standard off the shelf gift.

  • What is trending in luxury gifting right now?

Businesses and consumers are moving away from generic bottles and baskets. Personalisation, branding, and mixing food with non food items such as journals, stationery, candles, room diffusers, car fragrances, leather luggage labels, wallets, purses, designer socks, silk accessories, and artisan products are all on the rise.

  • We usually send wine at Christmas. Why would we use you?

We can certainly send wine, but we can enhance that significantly. A fine bottle paired with personalised Italian wine stopper, branded accessories, or a lasting desk piece keeps your business front of mind long after the bottle is finished. You don’t need to have a huge range of contents and can opt for one or two chosen items, beautifully presented.

  • How do hampers help with client retention?

When clients feel valued, they stay loyal. A personalised hamper is a tangible reminder that their business matters. Unlike a standard gift, it reflects thought and care, which strengthens the relationship and makes renewals or future contracts easier to secure.

  • How do I justify spending on hampers internally?

Hampers are not just a cost, they are an investment in relationships. Retaining one client is far more valuable than the price of a hamper. Because we personalise every gift, the impact is greater than a generic voucher or bottle, meaning stronger loyalty and better results.

  • How do hampers support employee engagement?

Recognition only works if it feels authentic. A standard gift risks being overlooked, but a thoughtfully put together hamper shows effort and care. That attention builds a stronger sense of value and loyalty than a generic voucher.

  • We have hundreds of staff. Can you personalise hampers without it being chaotic?

Yes. Because we manage stock and branding in house, we can scale easily. That might mean names on packaging, creating team specific variations, or handling bulk deliveries.

  • What is the best type of gift for welcoming a new starter?

A hamper that combines practical desk items with personal touches. For example, a branded notebook, a quality, personalised water bottle and mug, something useful for the desk, and a few treats to share. It feels like a real welcome rather than a token. We can also include personal welcome messages from managers and directors.

  • Can hampers be used for client retention as well as for staff?

Most certainly. Many of our clients use us for this purpose. A personalised hamper strengthens your relationship with clients by making your appreciation tangible. Unlike standard gifts, they are designed to feel individual, which makes a lasting impression.

  • Do you work with small businesses as well as large corporates?

Yes. We create hampers for companies of all sizes, whether you want a couple of bespoke gifts or thousands of branded hampers.

  • Do you only do hampers or single gifts too?

We do both. If you prefer a single branded item such as a crystal pen holder or luxury branded candle, we can supply it. We will package it beautifully so it still feels impactful.

  • Do you hold your own stock or source items to order?

We hold thousands of products in house, which is unusual in this industry. It means faster turnaround, better quality control, and confidence that what you have ordered is exactly what will be delivered.

  • Who checks the hampers before they are sent?

Every hamper goes through our triple checking procedure at packing, before ribboning, and before dispatch. This ensures nothing is missing and presentation is flawless.

  • Do you deliver internationally?

At the moment no. However, we are currently reviewing this.

  • What if the recipient does not drink alcohol?

We will adjust. Options include artisan soft drinks, premium teas, or non alcoholic wines. The hamper will still feel luxurious and thoughtful.

  • Can you match hampers to our company colours?

Yes. From ribbon and boxes to many products, we can incorporate your brand colours for a cohesive look.

  • How quickly can you deliver corporate hampers?

Because we hold stock and run production ourselves, we can usually turn orders around in days. Sometimes only a couple of days depending on the size of order and degree of personalisation. Even at Christmas we can often accommodate last minute requests.

  • What do people actually put in Christmas hampers now?

It is no longer just chutneys and mince pies. Clients now mix festive food with lasting items such as branded desk pieces, candles, or keepsakes so the gift is remembered well beyond Christmas.

A hamper that reflects the milestone. We often create hampers with a mix of celebratory items and a branded piece that stays on their desk, making the recognition feel permanent.

  • What is a good gift for promotions or leadership appointments?

Something that feels both professional and personal. For example, fine champagne with a branded accessory, or a bespoke hamper with quality home and personal 'objets' such as an engraved chess set, monogrammed leather luggage tags and passport holder, specific fine wine vintages, engraved glasses and decanters, crystal paperweights, personalised pen sets in boxes, and many more.
